iTero 3D Scanner

At Okuda Orthodontics, we use the iTero Digital Impression System to take quick, comfortable digital impressions for Invisalign.

iTero 3D Digital Scanner

How Does the iTero Digital Impression System Work?

One of our team members scans your teeth and gums with a compact, handheld wand. You can breathe normally during the process, and it’s fast and comfortable. The high-definition scans show up on our computer screen instantly, and your orthodontist receives a 3D model of your mouth. He can then plan out each individual tooth movement directly on this rendering and create customized appliances, including Invisalign aligners and retainers. The process is simple, stress-free, and ensures your treatment is precise. We can also use the Outcome Simulator to show you what your smile will look like before you start treatment.

CBCT

CBCT

At Okuda Orthodontics, we believe that great results start with great information. That’s why we use CBCT (Cone Beam Computed Tomography) — a powerful 3D imaging technology that allows us to view your teeth, jaw, and facial structures with exceptional detail and accuracy.

CBCT is a valuable tool in modern orthodontics, helping Dr. Okuda create personalized treatment plans that are precise, efficient, and designed to protect your long-term oral health.

What Is CBCT?

CBCT is a type of dental imaging that uses a cone-shaped X-ray beam to capture highly detailed, 3D images of your:

  • Teeth
  • Jawbones
  • Airway
  • Nerve pathways
  • Sinuses
  • TMJ (temporomandibular joints)

Unlike traditional X-rays or 2D imaging, CBCT gives us a full, three-dimensional view of your facial anatomy, allowing us to spot even the smallest issues that might otherwise go unnoticed.
